Solid A-grade teak with marine-grade rope and quick-dry, water-resistant cushions. Teak is naturally oily and dense, so it shrugs off rain and sun and needs no sealing to last outdoors for many years — it is the timber boats are built from for exactly that reason.
Left alone, the teak weathers to a soft, even silver-grey; oiled twice a year, it holds its warm honey tone. Either way the set only looks more at home in a garden as it ages, and the stainless-steel fixings never rust or bleed marks into the wood.
The rope is UV-stable and rot-resistant, hand-strung for a seat that gives just enough, and the cushions are wrapped in a fabric that sheds water and dries fast after a shower. It is a full set engineered to be lived on, left out, and enjoyed season after season.

Care
Rinse the teak occasionally and let it silver naturally, or apply teak oil twice a year to keep it golden — either path is correct, it is purely a matter of taste. Bring the cushions indoors when they are not in use to extend their life.
Hose the rope down as needed and let it dry fully, and give the whole set an occasional scrub along the grain to lift any greening in shaded, damp spots. No sealing or covering is required for the timber itself.
The stainless fixings mean nothing rusts, and any single component — a cushion, a length of rope — can be cleaned or replaced on its own rather than the whole set. Teak this grade routinely lasts decades outdoors, ageing into something better than the day it arrived.
