Quarried natural stone honed to a soft, tactile matte finish and set on a simple, substantial plinth. Every piece is cut from a single block, so the veining, tone, and mineral flecks are unique to your table and genuinely impossible to reproduce — no two will ever be the same.
Honed rather than polished, the surface is warm to the touch and hides fingerprints and light marks, trading showroom shine for something that ages more quietly and lives more easily. It is sealed on arrival to resist everyday spills, though stone remains a natural material that rewards a little care.
The plinth is cut and mitred so the grain wraps the corners, and the whole piece is balanced to sit dead level on any floor. It is heavy by design and quietly permanent — a table you place once and build the room around.
Dimensions
A low, substantial coffee table that anchors a seating group and holds its own against a large sofa. It is heavy by design, so once it is placed it does not wander, slide, or tip under the weight of books and cups.
At 120 cm long and just 32 cm high it sits comfortably below sofa-seat level, keeping sightlines open across the room, and the broad top gives real space for trays, books, and the clutter of an evening. Leave 40 cm between it and the sofa for legs to pass.
Care
Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild, pH-neutral soap, and re-seal the stone once a year to guard against stains. Blot acidic spills like wine, coffee, and citrus immediately, as they can etch a honed surface if left to sit.
Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders, and harsh or acidic cleaners, all of which dull or mark the finish over time. Use coasters under anything that might leave a ring, and mats under hot items, just as you would on any fine natural surface.
Should the surface ever pick up a dull patch or a light etch, it can be re-honed and re-sealed by a stone specialist back to an even finish. Cared for simply, it is effectively permanent — a piece that outlasts every trend around it.
