An enveloping curved shell in dense bouclé over a moulded foam and hardwood frame. The back is a single wrapping piece that curls around you, while a low swivel base hides underneath so you can turn to the room, the fire, or the window without shifting your weight.
The pile is deep and forgiving, made to be sat in hard rather than admired from across the room, and the bouclé's looped weave is remarkably good at shrugging off the marks of daily life. It reads soft and looks sculptural at once — a rare combination in a chair this comfortable.
Beneath the upholstery, the frame is corner-blocked hardwood and the foam is a high-resilience grade that springs back rather than flattening, so the shape you fall in love with is the shape it keeps. The swivel mechanism is rated for years of daily turning and runs silently.
Dimensions
A generous armchair you sink into and are slow to leave — wide in the seat, high in the back, and small enough in plan to claim a reading nook without dominating it. The wrapping shell gives a sense of enclosure that makes even a big room feel snug.

Care
Brush gently along the loop and blot spills the moment they happen, working inward so you never spread a mark. Rotate and flip the seat cushion monthly so the pile wears evenly across the whole chair rather than just where you land.
Vacuum on a low setting to lift dust from the weave, and keep the chair out of direct sun to protect the tone over the years. Wipe the swivel base occasionally and it will keep turning silently.
If the bouclé ever snags, trim the loop flush rather than pulling it, and the surrounding weave stays intact. The cover and cushion can be cleaned or remade independently of the frame, so a spill is never the end of the chair.

The 54 cm seat depth is deep enough to fold a leg into but not so deep that shorter sitters lose the back support — a balance we fussed over. The 360-degree swivel adds no visible height, sitting flush in the base, so the chair looks static and behaves like anything but.
