Every flute is cut and sanded by hand, so the ridges are crisp and consistent across the whole face, and the grain is matched across the doors so the pattern flows unbroken when they are closed. Inside, it is built for real life — deep enough for records, table linens, or a printer, and pre-wired for a media setup.
The carcass is solid-walnut-veneered ply for stability across seasons, with solid walnut fronts and edges that can be sanded and re-oiled for life. Soft-close hinges and felt-lined touch points mean it opens and shuts in silence, year after year.

A media-and-storage sideboard sized to sit beneath a screen or span a dining wall. The doors open flush to the frame, so nothing juts into a walkway, and the interior shelf lifts out or repositions to suit whatever you need to store.
At 180 cm wide it fills a wall without overwhelming it, and at 45 cm deep it holds vinyl, serving ware, and AV kit while still leaving room to walk past. The cable ports mean a television and its boxes can live here with the wires out of sight.
Care
Dust along the flutes with a soft, dry brush to reach into the grooves where a cloth cannot, and re-oil the walnut twice a year to keep it fed and even in tone. Wipe spills promptly and lift, rather than slide, heavy items across the top.
Keep the sideboard out of direct sun so the doors and top patina at the same rate, and let air circulate inside occasionally if you store textiles. Clean the interior with a barely-damp cloth and nothing harsher.
Because the fronts and top are solid walnut, any scratch or ring can be sanded out and re-oiled back to new — there is no thin veneer to wear through on the surfaces you touch. The soft-close hinges are adjustable and replaceable, so the doors stay perfectly aligned for the life of the piece.
